SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's tennis travels to California to compete in the ITA Northwest Regional Championships starting Friday. The Zags will be competing in both singles and doubles competitions.
Junior
Cate Broerman will enter the tournament as the No. 8 seed and will be taking on Hikaru Sato of Washington. Their match will begin at 1:30 p.m. Freshman
Caroline Wernli will go against Lauren Ko of UC Davis starting at 3 pm. Also starting at 3 p.m., sophomore
Kianna Oda will battle against Sacramento State's Megan Tagaloa in the first round. Senior
Adrianna Sosnowska will go up against Washington State's Savanna Ly-Nguyen starting at 10:15 a.m. Sophomore

Frederikke Svarre will also start at 10:15 a.m, with Aitken taking on Carly Schwartzberg of UC Davis and Svarre battling against Lillian Mould of Oregon.
On the doubles side, Broerman and Sosnowska will team up and take on Gabriela Tevez and Stefanie Silva of SMC California. Wernli and Svarre will take on Ella LeRoy and Klara Kosan of Portland in the first round. Finally, Aitken and Oda are the last Gonzaga duo, and they will be battling Matilde Magrini and Ann-Cathrin Hummel of Fresno State.
All matches start at 8:30 a.m. with doubles matches, singles matches will start at 10:15 a.m.
