Zags go for national-best 27th consecutive overall victory

THE TIP OFF
- Gonzaga welcomes Santa Clara in the 96th all-time meeting between the programs Thursday at 4 p.m.
- The Zags have a 65-30 lead in the series.
- Gonzaga has won 44 of the last 46 meetings against the Broncos, including the last 21 straight matchups.
- Santa Clara's last win in the series was an 85-71 home
victory in 2011. Gonzaga is 44-4 under Few against SCU.

- Drew Timme (19.09) and Corey Kispert (19.05) lead the WCC in scoring and field goal percentage (Timme, 64.9) (Kispert, 55.6). Kispert also tops the league in free-throw percentage (87.7) and three-point field goal percentage (45.7). Jalen Suggs is first in steals (2.00). Andrew Nembhard is first in assist-to-turnover ratio (3.69).

- This is the 96th all-time meeting between Gonzaga and Santa Clara. GU owns a 65-30 advantage in the series.

SCOUTING THE BRONCOS:          
- Santa Clara is coming off of an 86-82 home victory over Pepperdine Saturday. Four Broncos finished in double-digit scoring led by Josip Vrankic's 26 points. He grabbed a team-high nine rebounds as well. Christian Carlyle scored 16 points and dished out five assists. Jalen Williams added 17 points.
- Vrankic leads the Broncos averaging 15.38 points per game (10th in the WCC). He leads the conference grabbing 8.56 rebounds per game. His 7.19 defensive rebounds per outing also paces the league.
- Jalen Williams and Keshawn Justice are chipping in 10.8 and 10.4 points per game. Both are averaging just over 13 points per conference games. Williams and Justice are both dishing out 2.2 assists per game to lead the team.

- Extend the nation's longest active win streak to 27, which would be two shy of the program record of 29.
- Extend the nation's longest active home win streak to 50, which would tie the program record of 50.
